excellence example On June 30th 1934,the SS(Schutzstaffel) launched an attack on The SA (Sturmabteilung) along with other political enemy. Hitler decided to set up a trap for all the SA leaders, he ordered them to meet up in Bad Wiessee in the Kurheim Hanselbauer hotel. There, the SA leaders were brutally pulled from there beds, taken to nazi headquarters for excution and gun down . It was the most significant single event during the establishment of Hitler’s pursuit of power and dictatorship in Germany, thus beginning “The Night of the Long Knives' '.This report will be focusing on both perspectives of the SS and the SA. The SS were made to act as a bodyguard unit for Hitler led by Himmler while The SA were made to protect any leading nazis and disturb other political opponents meetings, this private army was lead by Ernst Rohm.
