How do cells keep us alive? How do plants make their own food? These are the essential questions that this unit aims to answer for students, In this unit, students will explore how the role of cells keeps the systems within living things functioning correctly. Students will first learn about how cells specialise in complex multicellular organisms, and then, students will conduct multiple practicals to understand the complex systems involved in plants for photosynthesis. This will help students to gather prior knowledge that will be useful when learning about the human body systems and also help students to develop an appreciation for the microscope world that creates the foundation for all living things
