There has been a very big shift in the way people viewed World War 1 and the ANZAC legends from the beginning of the war to the present day. Overtime “The ANZAC day legend isn't one thing. It’s about the courage of the Australian and New Zealand forces who have fought in the war since WW1”, and looking at all of the different views the people of Australia had before, after and to this present day.” (Australian war memorial, 2018). This essay will compare and contrast how the different view point of The ANZAC legend has changed to the Australian society.
