The Tempest and Fire and Ice Essay
English (Advanced)
2 Pages • Essays / Projects • Year: Pre-2021
Discoveries challenge an individual to change their lives and values. New experiences can lead to new conclusions and the delicacy of human emotions can impact these conclusions. “Fire and Ice” by Robert Frost follows the persona’s thought process of deciding whether fire or ice will destroy the world based on his discoveries during his life time. In “The Tempest” written by William Shakespeare, multiple character’s preconceived attitudes towards the world are challenged which causes them to discover something new. “The Tempest” covers the idea that discoveries can stimulate favourable insights and cause one to reassess their relations with others.
