The differences in the socialisation process between generations Z (1995-2010) and X (1965-1979) can be analysed to indicate the importance of integrating the fundamental concepts of Society and Culture with individual development. The comparison between these two generations allows for the accurate representation of the rapid advances in technology over the past 30 years, with the socialisation process changing far more noticeably between generation X and Z than any other generation gaps. Investigating these generational differences will reveal the five fundamental concepts of the Society and Culture as the foundation for the socialisation process and will further allow for the understanding of how these concepts are integrated into the micro, meso and macro worlds. Influential additional concepts such as gender, technology and globalisation can be researched through primary and secondary data, with questionnaires, articles and websites exhibiting the differences in the socialisation process between generations X and Z in an accurate and wellinformed manner. This also allows for a wider spectrum of research, with information gathered from various sources providing more accurate, reliable and detailed information. The fundamental concepts of Society and Culture will become further understood through the application of primary and secondary research, with the integration of additional concepts allowing for a clear and concise representation of the difference in socialisation in Australia between generations X and Z.
