“Rooster” choreographed by Christopher Bruce displays many complex themes that go further than the movement shown. Based on the 1960s and the exploration of freedom for women it led to a more equal role amongst genders (“Rooster” led to a more equal role amongst genders or the changing ers itself?). Through access to ‘the pill’ and to abortions a newly profound sexaul freedom was born, the subtle flirtacious movements towards men and the partnership between genders fluanted a romantic sense to the piece. I was able to dissect a concept that focused on the 60’s and the free born nature of society. The change in the way women present themselves with the topic of gender in the 1960s as a result of political and technological advances. This is what I believe ‘Rooster’ was expressing through the different components talked about in this essay. I believe that through the encouragement of using the components (state the components here) Tech/PQ not necessary for this task a clear communication of the concept/intent was successfully displayed in the rooster. \]
